Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ondefa Chrome Extension, website, dashboard, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Ondefa ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By using Ondefa, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Ondefa is a Chrome Extension that helps users discover publicly available business contact information (such as email addresses and phone numbers) associated with LinkedIn profiles. The extension renders an inquiry card directly within the LinkedIn profile page. Contact data is retrieved from third-party data providers and public databases upon explicit user action.

Ondefa does not scrape LinkedIn data, does not automate any LinkedIn interactions, and does not access private LinkedIn information. The extension operates solely through content script injection to render its own UI components.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits, Payments, and Billing

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased in advance through our dashboard.
  • Credits are deducted only upon a successful contact lookup: 1 credit per verified email address and 2 credits per verified phone number.
  • If a lookup does not return a result, no credits are deducted.
  • Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to spamming, harassment, or stalking.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or its underlying technology.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or the data obtained through it without prior written consent.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation, including data protection and anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information, Ondefa does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data returned by the Service. Contact information is sourced from third-party providers and public records, and may be outdated or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying the information before use and for complying with all applicable laws governing the use of such data.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are owned by Ondefa or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without prior written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any unused credits at the time of termination are non-refundable unless required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONDEFA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ondefa and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may interact with or rely upon third-party services (such as LinkedIn and payment processors). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, providing additional notice (e.g., via email or in-app notification). Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ondefa operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
